The respect IAS officers had in the past, is gone. Many of them are treated like the personal servants of ministers. Hence, ministers like Raja and Maran have no intention of seeking or listening to the advise of these bureaucrats

It is these so called experienced Secretaries and bureaucrats who are responsible for the miserable state of affairs in the country today. They are just no good and their only aim is to grab the maximum benefits for themselves in terms of promotions, awards, and postings by keeping their bosses happy. No use blaming only the Ministers who are no doubt responsible for their ministry but they hardly understand the technicalities.Kapil sibal is a distinguished lawyer, what does he understand about Education or Telecommunications.farooq Abdullah is a doctor by profession.he understands little about solar energy.as compared to this, there are experts and even nobel Laureates in he US Administration.
