Beware of the lure of QUOTES!
A Quote is born in a particular time frame, context, value system etc. Stripped of all these, they can carry dangerous possibilities. This man was born a genius but lost track and ended as a MAD man and paralyzed in bed. One can understand loving ones enemies, like Jesus said, but where is the need to hate friends? it is totally absurd.
