Q.

The laws of Islam came to protect women's honour and modesty. Islam forbids women to wear clothes that are not modest and to travel without a mahram; it forbids a woman to shake hands with a non-mahram man. Islam encourages young men and women to marry early, and many other rulings which close the door to ra#pe. Hence it comes as no surprise when we hear or read that most of these crimes occur in permissive societies ?

Do you means the rape take place only because of the dressing style of the women. or do the rapes take place because females shake hands with male. why dont you blame the men who commit such dastardly acts, is it due to the demented brain of a man who commits such unmanly actis or do you think womn in general invite men to ra##pe them. what what do you mean by permissive sociery. are the crimes not being committed by men who follow islam, is every man who follow islam is pure and has never been caught by law enforcing authorites in India Can u gurranttee that not a single muslm in India has never committed this crime of ra#pe. why do talk of women only there must be some teachings for men also not to misbehave,

Yes such scriptures are very nice. But the question is how far it is practised by the followers. In spite of such stringent religious rules there are many reports of rich Arabs abusing their maid servants (even minors) brought from other countries. However there is not much of media coverage for such instances. When religious rules are not strictly adhered to, such writings will remain as mere writings only.

Yes. We do not hear or read that most of these crimes occurring in your societies. The reason could be that the news of such incidents are censored and not allowed to come out in the open.
It is all very well to quote lofty and noble thoughts from books. But is it really being followed in real life? Examples, of how the laws written in books are being violated, are many
