Yes, its a sad news for all of us as he was really the one who started it all by announcing Indian presence on the global level in terms of inventions!!

Could you thow more light on this, I am interested to know abtou the great Bhaskaracharya. Are you mentioning Bhaskaracharya-II who wrote Lilavati book? Kindly let me know what was there in Patnadevi and what happened now?

I have not heard, this is a bad news if govt. doing such deeds. Perhaps the archeology deptt has not declared it as preserved location that might have caused the demolition. By the way, will you pl.apprise which agency was responsible for doing it.
