Japanese Encephalitis has once again reared its ugly head in eastern Uttar Pradesh. At a time when the Centre and Uttar Pradesh government are doing blame games over recurring affliction of Japanese Encephalitis (JE) in the state, the deadly disease has claimed as many as 501 lives. Every day five to seven people, mostly children, are dying of JE at Gorakhpur Medical College alone. Children are the worst sufferers since they have weaker immunity than adults. Comments plz.
