Hindus of India have taken secularism as an encroachment on their rights, of late, when they are being neglected. Is secularlism not proving a false pretender type of policy under the present condition?

Secularism is certainly a very good policy. One should allow & respect all other religions equally as one respects his own religion.Hindus have practiced it always and I appreciate it.But just one concern. When Hindus respect all other religions equally then at least we expect that all others should also respect Hinduism equally.Sadly this is not the case now. Some minorities are taking undue advantage of oyur secularism and trying to attack Hinduism. One always welcomes guests at one's house and respects their beliefs and freedom , but when the guests start domoinating their own religion and faiths on the host, I suppose it is the right time to show them the door!

Seciularism is an honest stance but the corrupt political leaders made it dirty...............its ok to fight for the rights of minorities but supporting them for everything is biased.............congress leader Digvijay singh went to the UP village, from where the terrorists killed in Batla house Encounter hailed, Indian Mujahideen fame............he there supported the views of the villagers and muslim leaders that the Encounter was fake and the terrorists were innocent students.....while a judiacial enquiry has cleared that encounter was genuine, a senior police officer was killed there, the Delhi police has solid proof against the terrorist involved there.......now this is blatant hypocrisy of Former madhya pradesh CM Digvijay singh.......this is not secularism but this is treason with India............such vote bank politics is now a common practice in india.............the below average IQ people of the masses r easily provoked by such corrupt politicians

Human is social Animal. He require society to live. Dharma Sankalpana is too origin of this concept. Meaning of secularism has been aggrieved due to forceful conversions, false spread of religion, etc. Hence as u said secularism is one of the pretender of the moralistic society. If no religion then better to be nonreligious. Secularism is camouflager and religious an realistic one.

For a Govt. in a democracy like India, which has equal rights for all religions and equal stata for folowers of al the religions, secularism is the best policy, because every individual person living in the country must be made to believe that it is his govt, his country, and his system... he will never be deprived of anything just because his religion is different. So there is no other way but to follow secularism.
