I ahve many books that are my favourites ..the most notable amongst them are The Bhagavad Gita by lord Krishna , Code Name God by Mani Bhaumik and the Gospel of SriRamakrishna by Mahendra Nath Gupta. ..the authors are known to me in the sense that I know about them but I don't claim to know them personally. The author of the Gita is omnipresent but I have still not been able to see Him.. Dr. Bhaumik is alive and lives in Los Angeles but I have not had the paleasure of his aquaintance. As for Mahendra Nath Gupta ..he passed away before even my parents were born.. but I do know a nieece of his who happens to be my aunt too. She has told me many anecdotes about him.

The God Father by mario Puzo . It is modern day Gita... Superb lesson on how to conduct yourself in the modern world- carry a big stick but walk softly. Even if you have to eliminate someone do it in style and in a chivalrous manner.
