Actions from a sincere mind are always spontanenous.when it senses a sorrow it tries to remove it in all its possible ways without bothering about anything.but before setting out to solve it,it sometimes never thinks about others[its Dear Ones].it never thinks that its actions may affect some relationships,it never thinks about others feelings or never seeks their opinion that they will have to tell something about this,or never considers their sincerity or goodness.it never thinks that they can handle a situation more nicely than it.
Are all these negative sides of sincerity?..........

What looks like a respite at one end,may cause anguish on the other,like you have stated vividly in your query.
Passionate involvements,lead to such self destructive,volatile line of action.
When semblance is sidelined,over taken and over ridden,by sheer force of mindless 'sincerity' ...all hell breaks loose.
We find many such examples from real life,form Mythology and from various literary works...
