Theres always a confusion in Michael Francis O'Dwyer and General Dyer.
Where as Michael Francis O'Dwyer was Lieutenant Governor of the Punjab, General Dyer was the General who ordered to open fire on un armed civilians at Jalianwala Bagh. Lieutenant Governor O'Dwyer, however endorsed General Dyers act.
