If you are an average commuting class using the bike just for office-home-office purpose, slightly extend your down payment to about Rs. 40,000 and buy a Hero Honda CD-Deluxe. Don't go for loan and pay interests unnecessarily. However, if you are looking for a sporty bike in the 150 cc category, buy a Bajaj Pulsar 150 cc which costs around Rs. 60,000 on road. So, apart from the Rs. 35,000 down payment, you have to take loan and settle the amount using installments ( of course with some additional interest). My friend paid Rs. 15,000 down payment for Honda SHine (Rs. 55,000). He ended up paying Rs. 71,000 in 3 years time (due to interest). Why pay more for a bike that costs less? Buy a bike within your reach or ready cash and enjoy being debt free!!!
