Joyesh ji, I don\'t think friendship often ends up in love. A friend is a person who understands us, supports us, ecourage us when we badly need. There can be many friends, but only one true love in the whole life...human heart can be opened only from inside and that can be achieved by only LOVE...When you identify the special thing you were searching for, in a friend, then that person becomes special for you.
Love is the passionate and abiding desire on the part of two or more people to produce together conditions under which each can be, spontaneously express, his real self; to produce together an intellectual soil and an emotional climate in which each can flourish, far superior to what either could achieve alone.

When two hearts meet, share same feelings, emotions, thoughts...then love is born. We can even live without friends...but cannot even imagine to live without love, which is so divine, inseparable. In relations law of attraction says that like thoughts attract.

Friendship happens when there is love, understanding and concern and when all these three become stronger then love naturally happens

Its true that friendship betn opposite sexes are threatened to lose its identity...ofcourse me too, is not certain as to why ? wat i feel is that , if u want to travel thru friendship with anyone, you have to be mentally very strong n rigid to ur basic cause....otherwise , you will fetch every now n then such obstacles which may make ur friendship prone to disaster within no time , even before u realise wat exactly has happened wid u...

Friendship is nothing but good understanding, sharing, helping

So when all these are there naturally each other (in case of opposite sex) develops to affection and admiring or in other words a liking that makes \'a fine pair\'.

Moreover the friendship, particularly in the same field, each think it will help them too to understand better and to achieve something or to contribute (as they have a better understanding of others + & -) (and hence caste may not affect them much)

Financial dependency, acceptance by their families comes next

Culmination is nothing but the climax of highest development ! If we agreed, no wonder that the friendship may turn to love. Regards.

Yes very often. especially if both have same frequency and understanding. if you have a guardian angel as wife then then friendship can be retained as it is.
