I am from Kollam, about 75 kms north of Trivandrum, but can tell you some of the place that can be visited, say like, the Padmanabha temple, the Attukaal temple, the Pazhavangadi temple, The Palayam Church, the zoo, the Kovalam beach, the Veli village, the Zoo and the Museum just to name a few

I am not from that place, but anantha padmanabhaswamy temple and Kovalm beach are good place to visit
