It does require amendments to suit to the present conditions. One v important thing has to be added to that is Judges are also to be brought under the legal system totally. They are also to indicate their assets etc. in a regular manner.

It is said it is laywers paradise. Anyway Law should be like that to some extent
it should not give to more interpretations. As far as corruption is concerned
i have no direct knowledge about it.

It was designed to help the mighty and the powerful and give stick to the weaker common section of the people.

In last 30-35 years whenever I have followed any case involving influential & powerful people... I have noted that it drags on and on for decades and finally if & when the decision is taken a few learned LAWYERS say the section and sub-section of the law which was selected was not right enough. This case should have been booked under different section and in that case this WOULD HAVE been a fool proof case.

By that time nobody waould be interested in the case.

Remember BMW case, Bofors, Bihar Fodder Scam, Salman, Sanjay Dutt, Amarmani Tripathi, RK Sharma, Narsimha Rao, Shibu Soren, ... the list is endless.

Indian legal system is having many loop holes, and our legal system will give lot of provision for criminals to remain scot free, also the judicial system is very prolonged, one case will take minimum to minimum 4-5 years for judgement
