Hi Sara! It is very important that you are aware of the basics of weight loss & fitness rather than blindly relying on hearsay. Remember these-
1-Cardiovascular training like walking/swimming/aerobics/cycling done 4-5 days a week for a minimum of 30 minutes at a non stop brisk pace will help to burn fat. This is the only form of exercise that will help to burn large amounts of fat no matter what others claim.
2- Weight trainng done 3 days a week will help to tone & tighten the muscles of yoru body giving you a well shaped figure. It also helps to give the body a slow after burn of fat but will NOT burn fat in large quantities.
3- Stretching exercises are required to keep your body flexible & supple to prevent injuries & joint related problems. Does not burn fat, but is very important for your body & health.
4- Low fat diet helps to prevent putting on extra fat.
