The reason behind the ban is believed to be the controversial and objectionable content of the film. Recently, the premier of the film was cancelled in Kashmir due to the tension in the valley. Director Rahul Dholakia's film, which is based on the troubles in the Kashmir valley, will not be screened in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Producer Bunty Walia raised his anger on the decision. He said according to the censors there, it is a highly objectionable and controversial subject. The Indian government passed it, I don't know why they have refused to let is screen in their countries.
