Seeta Aur Geeta. "Akayla" shows that Vijay and Ajay have been orphaned at a very young age and as a result Vijay has looked after Ajay, ensured that he has a good education, while he himself joins the Bombay Police and is now an Inspector. He meets with and falls in love with Seema, wants to marry her, but quickly changes his intentions when he finds out that his close friend and garage mechanic, Shekhar, is in love with her. Subsequently, Shekhar and Seema get married and eventually give birth to a baby boy, Bobby. Ajay meets and falls in love with Neetu and both seek Vijay's blessings for their marriage, which takes place with lot of pomp and ceremony. Vijay then meets with a club dancer, Sapna, and is attracted to her and would like to marry her. Before he can propose to her, he must first deal with a gangster named Anthony "Tony" Braganza, who along with his twin brother, Jojo, have wrecked havoc in Vijay's life.
