Vivekananda - I think his theories still have enough 'dum' in them in relation to the modern world. They need to be channelized properly.

CK Prahlad - he is already being called the father of modern marketing, because of his theory of 'co-creation'

Salman Rushdie - you have to read his book to understand his guts. The first man to question fundamentalism, show his middle finger n walk off alive.

Ustad Zakir Hussain - the only man to have brought a 'petty accompaniment' instrument to the rest of the world. And he has made a legend out of it!!

PK Varma -you dont come across a sociologist like him every now n then. To top it up, he understands Indians better than Indians understand themselves. The saying is - if an Indian wants to know himself, he must read Varma.

Megha patkar Arundhati Rai Bahuguna Justice Sabbarwal and last of them Laloo Prasad Yadav .The first three for the work they are doing for the society .Fourth one for upholding the justice inspite of many political pressures and the last one for changing the railways and showing that govt agencies also can run in profits.

Amartya Sen: A great economist and nobel prize winner. His views are the best on Indian and world economy

Narayan Murthy: Infosys CEO has put Indian IT industry on the world map.

Sunita Williams: Maybe American, but an Indian-origin astronaut who made us proud by space walking for the longest time.

Indra Nooyi: Woman CEO of Pepsi.
