Earlier films made were sent in iron boxes (consisting of reels) and kept in the theatres and that location is called box office - office containing the (film) boxes;
a box office hit means a picture which general much revenue and profits to the producer and the popularity os the film is auto,matic, hav ing been seen by many, many; a film's success depends on many - a cot or chair must have four legs to be stable and like that producer, director, music director, actors, writersof songs and conversation and many more constitute one unit which brings out a succeessful picture and not of a single portion; though sometimes, the action of a hero or heroin, role of music director or director is cited as the chief cause of success of a picture, that is not true; a r sastry 040-23-65-62/ 9490117381
