Tell me any blessing which is not given by God. First step is to ralise 'self' which is not this body.
If we start realising 'self', we will not be perturbed by joy,suffering,wealth.etc. We will cross all barriers and start enjoying bliss. Temporary turbulations cannot sustain for long, once the real bliss is awakened in us.

I have bit different view ... I believe that every person is born with talent.but what is rare is the courage to follow the talent to the dark place where it leadsYou Can Lead a Horse to Water but You Can't Make Him Drink. Talents are best nurtured in solitude, but character is best formed in the stormy billows of the world ....There is no such thing as a great talent without great will power....Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence and determination ...... these modern management programmes can make the unwilling horses to run in the durby but they can not enhance the talent to win the race ... it's self determination only by sharpening the saw , which only can enhance the talent

And what is fame? The advantage of being known by people of whom you yourself know nothing, and for whom you care as little ??........to me , what's important is how I feel about myself - doing right things even when nobody is looking at me .....Fame is a vapor, popularity an acciden ...more

Nice thoughts.
Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.

I agree to what PARTHA PATHAK has said, except that I wud replace WILL POWER by GUTS.
When u r talented, ur work in that sphere of activity is never hard. No superhuman will power or effort or hard work is required. You enjoy doing it.....and excellence is natural.
