Q.
T Ravan was one of the most intelligent being ever existed. Even Rama accepts it and ask Laxuman to seek knowlwdge from Ravan. The only thing remains a mistery for me is that being so much intelligent, how could ravan fall? Knowledge is like light, it prevents darkness pervading you... Ravan was enlightened with knowledge, how could he fall? can anybody explain me this?

Sometimes, even if a person is intelligent, one wrong step and he comes down like a house of cards. That is exactly what happened in the case of Ravan.

The goal of mankind is knowledge, . Now this knowledge is inherent in man. What we say a man knows should in strict psychological language, be what he discovers, or unveils, , what a man learns is really what he discovers, by taking the cover off his own soul which is a mineof infinitye knowledge.
The life is triumphant , is a life of knowledge, and by knowledge is meant not book learning, but life knowing, , not superficial facts, committed to memmory, but the deep facts and truths of life, grasped andm comprehe3nded. Apart from this knmowledge, , there is no victory for man,
Thus knowledge to ,remove darkness and throw light, there shall be Righteous conduct, , truth in the intellectual level, , Peace on the emotional plane, Love at t5he psychological state, and Tolerance in a social interaction.
Ravan may have knowleddge, but it is not use in right direction.
