Sweet answer = :))))) ras malai is totally different from kalakand ....:)))))

Ras Malai is a popular South-Asian dessert, common to India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Ras malai consists of sugary, cream to yellow-colored balls (or flattened balls) of paneer soaked in malai (clotted cream)

Rasmalai is likely to have originated in Eastern India (Orissa, Bengal).

Kalakand, or (more correctly) Qalaqand is a popular Indian and Pakistani sweet made out of solidified, sweetened milk and cottage cheese. It owes it origin to the milk-rich Braj area of western Uttar Pradesh. It is a very popular sweetmeat in North and East India, including Jharkhand, Orissa and Bengal and is reputed for its exquisite taste.
