Q.
D nation is raving abt "Satyamev Jayate" Aamir Khan's latest drama. From fairly intelligent, respectful intellectuals to ordinary school drop-out taxi drivers, everyone wants to register their views and shower d actor with praises. I am sorry Aamir Khan Saheb. U still fail to charm me. Not that it matters 2me either. A man with a broken marriage, a man who could not save his own family comes to give sermons on social behaviour for a huge fee...I cant help but pity the innocence of d masses who seem to love glamourisation of serious issues liek female foeticide & child sexual abuse. He never said that he is doing it for a social cause. he may be right or wrong , but he has atleast taken an initiative to create an awareness.
earlier such shows were aired by non glamourous persons , but the show went off air in 2-3 weeks time.
unless there is some one salebale , the point does not reach us indians.
we must pity indians first and then question teh credibility of aamir khan
