Q.

Spiritual thought : God knows us as beings and it does not make any difference to Him whether we are in a material body or released from it.
So He need not wait for us to die before He bestows His grace (you may call it nirvana, moksh, heaven, paradise, etc) to us.

We need a body to wake up and rise to enlightenment. Otherwise there is no need to take up birth at all.
Body is a NEED to enlightenment, in fact the very purpose of taking birth is to take the journey to enlightenment.

Nirvana, Moksh, heaven , Paradise... etc. all are man made imaginations. No body knows what happens after physical death. Divine is present within, some people believe.

Just like an attentive student grasps more what a teacher teaches in the class;-so does a devotee experience more of his blessings that he bestows on us all. Only the mind should be directed to receive; and the meditation is the path.
