SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, who had been also called a Maulana earlier, also appeared to have impressed upon the Muslims that the Sachchar Committee and Rangnath Commission reports would be implemented if the party won.

I think now time has come to implement them and false promises means next time they will not come back to power , so it is political and social sagacity to implement the promise though communal parties like BJP will get lot of heart burns

It would be wise on his part to look after Hindu interests in the state and no special favours should be given and no special laws should be made to favour Muslims or any other minority community at the cost of harming Hindu interests.

Not only that, SP has fielded maximum number of muslims candidates and if I am not mistaken 63 of them have been elected.
