First of all,this is not a passionate or sentimental question if taken in account wisely. It is also not an intelligent question if taken logically. There are two main aspects, one pertaining to ancient sport - hunting - which our divine avtars, epic personalities and kings supported in practice. Second is meat which is a source of food. For both killing of animals is unavoidable. It is not a question answerable by non-vegetarians only. Even vegetarians too kill animals provided they pose threat to their life and holdings. Not only killing is a source of sport and food, it is also a source of living who are dependent on it. Above all, it is also a part of the cycle of living - a mutual dependancy acepted in existence culture. The matter pose sensational why man kills animals, a clamour being raised by those who find no reasonable reason for killing. If you have ever felt a quality leather jacket (cow- not pig skin) it feels quite different from "pleather". It also insulates better in the cold, and breathes a bit in the heat.
They are making a good amount of headway, making fake fur that feels nearly real and kudos to that!
I care about animals as well, and am not really a fan of fur- but what argument is there against leather? Nearly the entire animal is put to use for meat, leather, even soda ingredients (taurine)!
As an animal activist and animal lover, you can probably tell that i am fully against animal cruelty.
But i would like your opinions on why you may think that animals are purposely killed for fashion even though nowadays there are alternatives to animal skins such as faux fur and fake leather.
i am curious to know what you think about this issue.
The most basic ethis hunters use is "one shot, one kill" so the animal doesn't suffer. when the animal is shot you gut it, and then bring it back to your vehicle ...more

Survival of fittest.If you dont kill an offending wild anymal,it may kill you.Many a times we came accross the news of killing of Mahavat by tamed elephant.That shows that 'an animal is an animal,which has basic instinct to offend'.Mercy shown ,may cost irreperably dearer.
