Q.
Sonia Gandhis claim that Congress has always fought communalism does not reflect the whole truth. There have been times when Congress has been looking the other way around when the communal marauders are on the rampage. Be it the anti-Sikh pogrom, the Babri demolition and in many such situations Congress has either been looking the other way around or taking an afternoon siesta, when the fire of communal violence is raging. It is for this reason that many a critics blame Congress being communal and some go to the extent of blaming Congress more than BJP, as lot of communal violence has taken ?

I agree with you. Cong have fought always communalism but the question is "for" or "against"? Rajiv himself throned on the blood of communal roits after Indira's death. All Indian Political parties who call themself Secular are built on foundation stones of caste, religion and reservations. But, they could have n't reached this stage without the ignorance of so called minorities and backward caste as they have allowed politicians to exploit the weakness. So called Minorities and backward castes in India are repeatedly identify their enemies and the fellows if can not be called as good freinds but atlest less harmful.
