Just like asking who invented a language, it is not evolved out of just one person. Bhaskaracharya and Arya Bhata were great mathematicians. And all those Gurus of Astrology, Varaaha Mihira, Parashara, Agasthya and others also utilised a lot of accurate and complicated arithematical calculations.
