If civil service had shown an equal solidarity to fight the corruption & injustice in larger interests, this would hv not been an issue today at first place.

Did all those fasting by Anna end corruption? Did all those candle light march in Mumbai end Terrorism? Did the protest in the aftermath of Nirbhaya end violence or misbehavior against women? So in what way a congregation of emotionally charged people at Jantar Mantar going to change anything in UP. It may not raise the momentum, it will just fizzle out in a day or two.
