So far fish cultivation in the world has largely been done by exploiting the natural resources. Should we think for a more systematic and artificial way for cultivaing fish for human consumption in fresh water ponds and in rivers?

Yes, it could be a good way to tackle the food scarcity issue which is increasing all over the world. We need more such alternate methods of fish & other food cultivation to avert the crisis in future!!

Fish would be the food of future since most of the formers are moving out to urban area, so any progress and development is fishery should be welccome.
