Q.

Can a person with a full time MBA degree from Punjaab Technical University (PTU) be appointed as a teaching faculty in an MBA college? If he/she is refused such a job on the grounds that the degree has been obtained through a distance education course, can he/she file an RTI asking for an explanation for such discrimination?

One having MBA from UGC recognized University is eligible for faculty in any MBA institute. But In Govt. sector inst. in temp position the norm may some what relaxed. But in full-time teaching there may govt rules to be followed.

in private sector, many insts maintain certain rules imposed by themselves just keeping min requirement as mentioned by UGC.

In one word yes. It is possible.

A person with MBA can be appointed as a associate faculty, not as a teaching faculty in MBA colleges, if he completes any articleship or PHd he can be appointed as teaching faculty..
