In such a situation, any country, let alone India, can use only the diplomatic channel And India has already taken up the issue with the Australian HighCommission The global recession and consequent shrinking job opportunities have a bearing on the attack on Indian students Most of these students [ many are pursuing Hotel management, Nursing etc ] enter foeign countries not with the intention of quality higher studies, but with the idea of migrating to these countries A student visa is the first step in this direction And these students work in supermarkets, restaurants, petrolstations etc to make money for their stay there Naturally, the local school dropouts who work in these places, face a growing competition for these petty jobs from Indian students The persons attacking the Indian students are mostly yougsters, and not grown ups, who find employment in these establishments In the present scenario the Indian Govt cannot do anything more and Hon Minister Sasi Tharoor ha ...more

No action has suitably taken yet by the Govt. The bitter & severe treatment upon the Indian students is published in the print media and also in the TV. But ironically Govt. actions have not yet been publitting us into dark. If the Austrelian Govt. can not handle it, our Govt. can not keep itself mum. Regards.
