It would be absolutely idiotic.
CHINA's realisations came long after making 300 crore as their population, from 1960 onwards.
INDIA should have stopped the population nuisance to " 0 " growth during 1970.
In an utterly underdeveloped country / poor country / with illeteracy as a great menace, "POPULATION" can never be considered / converted as "HUMAN RESOURCES".
Arresting the population nuisance, for India, is the only way-out.

Yes but there is one more aspect to this
Our knowledge of China is only limited to what it wants to showcase to us. And images of rosy life styles of its population fill up the imagination of the world
How much do we really know what goes on beyond the urban heaven which it selects to show us?
What are the true conditions of its majority population which are kept restricted within the rural ares?
I agree that India is no heaven. But, at least we do not try to hide our short comings from the world
I feel that, this softpower of ours will one day prove to be more effective and sustainable than China in the long run

Discipline is the key to success. We need discipline at work places, in academic institutions, in administrative departments and in propagating healthy cultural social activities. China have done it and enjoying the result.
