Q.

Why some people - gals/guys feel bad when they are addressed as "auntyji/uncleji" by the opposite person?? If they are young or old but they feel bad. One should agree with age if sum1 younger to you adddresses u as "auntyji/uncleji" which I feel out of respect they call you. By calling you with that, nobody becomes old or young. Mi rite?? Agree or Disagree??

You are partly right! Most of the persons do not like to be addressed as aunty or uncle by someone slightly younger to them. However, if young children address them as aunty or uncle, they like. When we address someone as aunty or uncle, somehow they feel they are old and naturally everyone wishing to to be younger, they feel bad when addressed as aunty/uncle. We can please them by calling them 'bhai' or 'behenji'. I think they will like to be addressed that way.

They want to look younger, they want to look beautiful or handsome: Take the example of a celebrity Mandira Bedi she wants to appear as a teen age girl. Hence they dont like to be addressed either uncle or aunty

Caller should take care in adressing as per situation , age and personality difference.
i saw an incident,in which a lady(40-50)called a man "BETA"
the annoyed man put his artificial teeth in the hand of the lady and replied 'say mataji"
although nobody becomes old or youg on calling aunty/uncle but proper adressing is must.
