No. I don't think so. Motherhood is one of the many faces of a woman. the role of woman is multifaceted. She is the motivator behind her husband's success. A peaceful home is the most essential motivator for a man's success. A woman as a daughter, sister, daughter in law has vital roles to play in keeping her and her parents home motivated and happy. We have seen many successful mothers as the cause for breaking many homes in her capacity as a bad daughter, bad sister and bad daughter in law. A woman will become a complete woman only when she is at her best as a daughter, sister, daughter in law and a mother.

I think we shud just let the woman decide on this matter..whether she is comfortable with that so called Tribute to the Motherhood or the so called tribute to the Womanhood. I the end it all boils down to the Humaneness of that person.
There r mothers who leave their newborns in the dustbins..from where another divine person like Mother Teresa picks them up n show them the light of life.
In my opinion..Humanity has survived on compassion and fellow feelings...not on Motherhood alone.

Woman is one creation on earth who is no doubt all responsible for the Generations. She is undoubtedly given the highest regard for this, as men are only a product of her.
But i fee,l woman shd not be identified only for this one purpose.. she has much more in caliber to do and make in life.. Every field out here is in wait of this hand of one woman.. She is the back up and also keeps upfront in all major opportunities. And what if she is not a mother to one? Her self respect or dignity does not droop down the knees.. Its only a wrong conception to n by many. Motherhood is one such wonderful term, she well knows to use those emotions in her on any kind of a being on earth..n not just for biologically mothering one.
Woman has already made her mark in Ruling the country, Reaching space.. what else , you name it and she's there...
She needs a pat on her back with full salutes for all this remarkable discovery of self within her. Only emphasizing on motherhood would be only outrag ...more

It is natural feeling
Joy of motherhood can never be compensated by anything
If Not then mothers will become killers like killing live human in wombs for sake of other priorities
You are here because of Motherhood
Think If your Mother had aborted you for some other things ????

Motherhood:
When you were 1 year old, she fed you & bathed you.
You thanked her by crying all night long!

When you were 2 years old, she taught you to walk.
You thanked her by running away when she called.

When you were 3 years old, she made all your meals with love. ...more

All women in the world must be respected, all mothers of the world must be adored. Not just now, not tomorrow but forever. I think the joy of motherhood itself is the greatest tributes you can ever richly pay to a woman, because a mother never existed until a child is born to her. Remember that wonderful feeling, when you gaze at your mom full of awe and wonder that such a bundle of lovely-motherly perfection is all yours...!

I don't think so ,women should be treated as ''persons'' only ....,in fact such adjectives are the obstruction in the progress of women and are the reason to deprive women of their human rights without discrimination ,,in this era of science and research [on the basis of some news etc.] ,,nothing is impossible and motherhood is not merely the women's absolute right ,,more over ,a mother's heart --that love and compassion is seen not only in a mother but is in father too in many cases father takes care of child and mother does not do that ,,just by giving birth one cannot be a mother ,,, ,,also several women who never became mother in worldly sense are full of motherly love ,,,,while many real mothers have no time and concern for their children and busy enjoying their lives the way they want to ,,so society is full of many examples that establish this that a mother is who has unconditional love for child/children ,,who c ...more
