The judiciary is free from the political control except to the extent of appointments. I cannot see how to free the judiciary from this area. If the judges are not appointed by the government, who else can do so is not known to me. The constitutional experts were wise enough to decide on the present arrangements.

There are corrupt people even in judiciary. Judgements of two courts never agree and there is a stay for every judgement. Rich always get away as law is amenable for them with the help of eminent lawyers whereas poor go to jail and the court has no time to hear them out also. Some control on judiciary is very essential. In fact, we need the Judiciary, Executive both to be powerful and act as a check on each other.
