IMF / WOrld Bank and western financial institutions NEVER allow a third world country 2 reach self sufficiency- because if they did, the IMF / WB would lose their clout and US would no longer have the kind of "danda" it does on 3rd world countries.

IMF completely wrecked the following economies:

Romania under Ceaucescu
Democratic Republic of Congo (half of world's raw materials r here yet country is too poor)
Cambodia
Lao
Burkina Faso
.....
I can write a Mahabharata on this.............................but just sayin, a country is better off w/o IMF / WB. IMF / WB = British East India Company.
