The IGCSE is for Grade IX and X together as a 2 year course. Hence the board exam for Grade X covers the 2 years syllabi. From the subject quantity perspective we can say it is relatively tougher! Even from the exam point of view, it spans from MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) as one paper to small sized questions as another paper and broader questions as another paper on the extreme side! Yes it is tough but our kids can do it, because it develops skills as mentioned by Jameel Admed above.

Obviously it is tough because Cambridge IGCSE is the world's most popular international curriculum for 14 - 16 year olds. It develops successful students, giving them excellent preparation for their next steps in education, including progression to the Cambridge Advanced stage, both Cambridge International A/AS Levels and Cambridge Pre-U. Cambridge IGCSE is recognised by universities and employers worldwide.

Cambridge offers a range of Cambridge IGCSE teaching support and resource materials for each subject. Select the subjects below for details of the support resources available for each syllabus.
