Yes indeed he should as that might help him overcome his shortcomings of the past but there are many more who need to do so as he wasnt the only one responsible for it!!

A class of fanatics are still hitting their heads on MOSQUE & MANDIR issues.
Still hotter/relevent issues for India's development deliberately are left behind.
WHAT a shame ! AND we have to be "Indians" with all these ?

Very much. He was personally present at the time of demolition of Babri Masjid. Even if such action was conducted against his will, being a responsible leader, if he had no control over the crowd, he has no right to participate in such functions.
