The much-awaited and debated Lokpal Bill was finally introduced in the Parliament. If you want to stop corruption in India, the corrupt peoples assets need to be traced, frozen and confiscated. Commens plz.

Agreed! Unless this clause in Jan Lokpal bill is enforced, corrupt persons will not have any deterrence. We want the Lokpal Bill as there is just too much corruption. This is an issue we feel strongly about. We hear so many horror stories about so much money being dwindled away. The government has ignored the people's demand for effective Jan Lokpal and has tried hard to keep the PM, Judiciary, MPs, and a large part of the bureaucracy free from the Lokpal's anti-corruption powers. But we all know that corruption in India is entrenched in across the system and the only way to tackle this disease is by bringing an ambitious Lokpal bill that includes all government and judicial leaders. The debate on the issue of whether PM and judiciary should come under the purview of Lokpal has dominated our political discourse for quite some time now. They have been traced they only , now.need to be frozen and confiscated. that much i agree. but under what laws are the indian laws applicable in foreign countries where the money is lying in bank accounts
