But what is the necessity? As time goes by you find out that these very leaders were not so gr8 after all! Like Nehru... his internationalising the Kashmir issue brought Plebiscite on our doorstep. His mixed economy proved to be a total failure which was ultimately rejected by Dr. Manmohan Singh as FM under Prime Minister P.Narsimha Rao. Gandhi ji did lead the freedom struggle along with others but alone he presided over partition of India.

Very few. In fact some old pictures are so dirty, they will be better removed. New generation boys want pictures of Madhuri or Aishwarya or John Abraham . But not Manmohan singh. Gone are those Nehru - Gandhi days.

Yes indeed what you say is true as with time our idols have changed & got westernized & we have forgotten the ones who got us freedom, its a pity that you find rarely gandhi, nehru, patel or bose pictures in the house of people while SRK or john abraham, bipasha, deepika & the list goes on & on will be commonly found!!
