The other name of Chanakya was Kautilya and by that name a quality called "Kutilta" is referred to in his honour which generally is translated as Shrewedness. In Indian Politics many people have Qualified for this Title, and no single person can be ascribed with this honour. Mahatma Gandhi, a Barrister, knowing all the options in a game, moved very carefully while dealing with his opponents and succeeded most of the times, which gave him this quality of Shrewedness. Poet Pradeep as a tribute to him, wrote in one of his song " Lekin tha Baapu too bhi Ustaad Puraana, Maara wo kas ke daon, ultee sabhee ki chaal, Sabarmati Ke Sant Toone Kar Diya Kamaal"
After that you can name Sardar Patel, for his moves during Accession of Princely States to India, Indira Gandhi during Bangla Desh Crisis.
