No. I am saying this because although a huge majority of people in India are Hindus and I have high respect for them, there are many people of different religions in India who feel that they belong to India and they are very patriotic Indians.

If it had been done so, we would have never faced any wars. We would have been far far ahead of any developed country like USA, Russia, Great Britain, China or Japan.

No. I am a proud Hindu, but the decision to be secular was correct. Over the centuries this land has been resided by people of all religions giving ample space to each one of them. India has been the birth place of religions like Buddism, Jainism, Sikhism and Muslims, Hindus and Christians have all co-existed with each other, mostly in peace. So its apt that India was and continued to remain secular.

Yes ! the logic seemed right....bcz if Pakistaan being a Islamic nation had been emerged on the basis of religion then why India be declared as a secular country....instead of being a Hindu nation.....it was a basic mistake done by the then leaders of India......
