On a TFT monitor any picture displayed is more than the actual size in width , which makes it a bit distorted.Is there any way to adjust it to the correct proportion?

The TFT is set at the 16:9 format for viewing the latest films on full screen. In most TFTs worth their salt, there is an adjustment that can change the viewing format to 4:3, the one most movies were hitherto shot in. Most cameras too, employ the 4:3 or the letterbox format as it is called. See the manual, search for this format, and you will find Tun Tun coming back to her slim size, and Bindu's size change from 46 to her normal 42 :)
