There are greater cricketers than Sachin. Those who play the game, bring great joy to the people with their style of strokeplay, catches, Wicket keeping and of course bowling. And above all, by leaving when on top ... not like Sachin slogging it even when everyone was yawning at his performance and wishing him to retire.
Sachin outstayed his welcome. Wisden doesn't award Cricketers just for making lots of centuries.

Probably Kallis deserve such titles.
At the age of thirty eight he is getting retired but still close to Sachin when to centuries, total score in test matches. Apart from that he has taken close to 6oo wickets in test and ODI. 2oo catches in tests.
Probably if SA was engaged with as much as cricket as by Indians, probably he Kallis would hv been far ahead of Sachin.

Sachin is a great player that we all know. But there can be many other players like or better than Sachin could come later in the century. So we should decide this at the end of the century. But Sachin's achievements will not be forgotten.
