Q.
Shiva Thapa crashed out in boxing, Women's Archery team crashed out, Abhinav Bindra crashed out in shooting. All these Indian sportsmen were favorites for medals, yet they all were eliminated in the qualifiers. Are we the Indian Public and media putting too much pressure on the sportsmen by our expectations?

No, i dont think so we are putting to much pressure on them as its always expected of tendulkar whenever he walks out to bat to score nothing less than a ton. This is what differentiates a true champion form a star player. The one who holds on to their nerve till the end does win in the end.
As shown by Gagan Narang although Shiv thapa has been unlucky not to get points by the refree & lost by a point. I think its just the matter of the performance on the day of the event as all the atheletes from all over the world keenly contest making it the toughest competition!!

What a joke sir how can we pressurise the players to play badly. what ever we write should not/does not effect them. the only problem with us is that we expect more from our players than they can deliver and when they cant deliver or deliver only what they are capable of we start writing against them, they dont have to change dear sir we have to change and should not expect miracles from ordinary human beings.
