That Pawar wants to become President of BCCI once again became quite evident when he fired the first salvo against N Srinivasan stating that during his tenure the members were united and such an embarassing situation would not have arisen quite conveniently forgetting that it was during his tenure one of the laws stating that a BCCI member cannot be in any way associated with any other cricket activity causing conflict of interest and modified it by adding except IPL clearing the way for Srinivasan to be both member of BCCI as well as owner of an IPL team. After the first salvo the members close to him Shri Sanjay Jagdale, Secretary and Shri Avinash Shirke, treasurer submitted their resignations and these two were initially defending Srinivasan. It looks now inevitable that either Pawar himself or any one of his cronies like Shashank Manohar will control the BCCI again.

There is lot of politics in BCCI too.. All this resignation dramas may have been initiated by Mr. Manohar himself to dissolve the committee and get an opportunity to come back..
