Someone released two pairs of peacocks and peahens in the hills in my place in Goa. The peacock family multiplied and the foxes which used to be common, just disappeared. What could be the reason for this?

Whats peacock got to do with Foxes................Foxes can kill a peacock easily ......................may be there r poachers hunting foxes and other animals in ur area

A curious phenomenon indeed. Normally snakes vanish in the vicinity of peacocks.
