Absolutely. While living in England in 1940, Sher Singh (Udham Singh) assasinated Sir Michael O'Dwyer, who had been Governor of the Punjab at the time of the Jalianwala Bagh Amritsar Massacre, while General Reginald Edward Harry Dyer had ordered British Indian Army troops to fire on a large gathering of peaceful Indian protesters during 1919.
