The government must first win the trust of the people. The comon man has lost faith in the police, the politicians and the judiciary. In the tribal areas people have to give ranson or protection money to the naxals and in cities we have to give bribe. In cities we see the police taking bribe on every street, what havoc they must be causing in the remote tribal areas. The gross misuse of power by them prompts the uneducated poor tribals to join the naxal forces. I was happy to hear the news of 73 CRPF men gunned down by the naxals because I had my first bad experience with the police at the age of ten and everyday I see them taking bribe.

It was all drama, sir. It is beyond one's understanding that why PM has rejected his resignation. Chidambaram's offer to resign could be a manifestation of the dynamics of the Congress party's internal politics. Union Home Minister has totally failed to provide necessary security to his country men. They are taking the entire nation for a ride. This is another Media drama by Congress as part of face saving. It seems that he is basically not much interested in Home Ministry. Dr. Manmohan Singh has said that the recent brutal killing of policemen, blowing up railway tracks and burning of vehicles by the Naxalites cannot be equated to terrorism! What else do you require to qualify for a label like Terrorists? It's very immature of a national leader to say something like this instead of coming down heavily with an iron hand against all those who take up arms and hold the machinery to ransom.....Now what govt. should do!!!The Security personnel should be air-dropped directly near the site o ...more

I have one solid view our Home Minister is a lawyer used to take adjournments in the courts earlier , it is difficult to expect commitments from him , he is always in his legal mindset ,try to justify and explain with there ends all issues , whether serous or not.
