Deepika,if you are really concerned with the present condition of JAMMU, I would like to make detailed communication so as remove certain misunderstandings regarding JAMMU
The state pof JAMMU & KASHMIR has 3 different regions Jammu,Kashmir & Ladhakh.Kashmir has majority of Kashmiri muslims & after the sinister MIGRATION of KASHMIRI HINDUS in 1998,Muslims alone are in abundence whereas pple of other communities are only negligible. In 1998 Kashmir was in the grip of foreign militants pumped by our neighbouring country in order to creat unceremonious unrest in the state & scare Hindus. These militants were equipped with ultramodren weapons etc & the fantic kashmiri muslims created an atmosphere of utter scare in the whole state. They demanded "Liberation".I want to make it clear at this juncture that this militants moment was restricted in Kashmir province only & people of Jammu & Ladhakh NEVER subscribed to the same. They are real INDIAN NATIONALS ...more

Actually all the problems is due to lack of clarity on the J&K merger in the India. J&K is given independent status from rest of the country. If any Indian Govt abolished this special status of J&K will be sufficient to remove all the causes.
